📍Sainte-Chapelle, Paris Sainte-Chapelle is one of 📍Sainte-Chapelle, Paris

Sainte-Chapelle is one of my favourite sights to visit in Paris for its beautiful stained glass windows and fascinating history ✨

Here are some travel tips for your visit:

🎟️ Book your tickets online to avoid long queues.
☀️ It’s best to visit on a sunny morning to avoid crowds or before sunset, so the sun’s rays enter at an angle. I took this video first thing in the morning👆🏽
🪟The visit starts in the Lower Chapel. But you can find the hidden staircase at the side of the entrance to go straight to the Upper Chapel, which contains the stained glass windows.
🕚 It’s pretty small, so it can take you 30 min to 1 hour to visit. But slowing down, perhaps listening to the audio guide or simply spending some time to marvel at its beauty it’s definitely worth it.
🚶🏽‍♀️It’s only 5 min walk from the Notre Dame Cathedral.

Did you know..?

🎨The stained glass windows depict scenes from the Old and New Testaments of the Christian Bible. In the 13th century, much of the world’s population was illiterate, and that’s why churches were decorated with sculptures, stained glass and paintings telling stories of the Bible.
